Recycling means re-using either the raw materials in a product or even the whole product as a whole.
With Britain’s landfills filling up at an alarming rate, there is an ever greater need to find alternative means of getting rid of our unwanted products and more.
Not only do we believe in conducting our business in the most environmentally responsible way that we can, it also makes complete financial sense to recycle as much as possible. Using landfills to dispose of waste and unwanted products is the most expensive disposal option.

Car Batteries
The batteries are taken to specialist centers where the batteries are shredded and the acid is removed and disposed of in accordance with hazardous waste regulations. Excluding the acid, the rest of the battery can be recycled. The lead is melted and reused to manufacture more batteries. The polythene plastic is melted down into tiny pallets which are used to manufacture plastic.
Metals
All metals are recycled. Metals are processed separetely. Once at the metal recycling plant, the metal is chipped into small pieces wich are then melted in a furnace. When the metal has cooled slightly, it is rolled into large sheets wich are then formed into new products.
Concrete & Rubble
Any material suitable for recycling, such as concrete, flagstones and bricks are crushed and the rubble is then used as ‘sub-base’ material and foundation on construction sites.
Paper
The paper is also recycled through the pulping process. Inks and dyes are removed from the paper and water is added to produce a pulp-like material. This mixture is passed through large heavy rollers which remove excess water and press the cellulose fibres together, causing them to lock as they dry.
